What if you can't remember the last month? I can only remember my stress level from the last week because it has been so all-pervading. A month ago? Jeez, who can remember? That was another lifetime...

The fact that your post ended with 6 question marks should tell you that perhaps you are stressed.

So what's the magic number? Well I didn't post that information mostly because I don't like cut-offs. If a person scored just under the cut-off are they really much different from someone who just made the cut-off? The point was to get people to think about the amount of stress that they are dealing with
This is how you score it.

"PSS-10 scores are obtained by reversing the scores on the four positive items, e.g., 0=4, 1=3, 2=2, etc. and then summing across all 10 items. Items 4,5, 7, and 8 are the positively stated items."

ie the positive items are minused from the negative items.

a negative score would be very good, (meaning that you aren't stressed and use excellent coping strategies) a positive score means that you are stressed (maybe you don't use effective coping strategies or maybe none at all.) Most people are in the middle.
